Today is the start of two on line classes I’ve enrolled in. The first one is Blog Boss taught by Holly Becker of decor8. I took Holly’s Blogging Your Way Boot Camp class back in the Fall and wrote about it here. Holly is very inspirational and I love her approach to teaching. Blogging Your Way was not only full of helpful information, but also a good source of moral support for me. Holly’s story is very inspiring and you can read about her on decor8. It brings me joy to have the opportunity to participate in another class of hers and to learn new things.
I love taking on line classes and have also enrolled in a class called 30 Days of Lists. Each day you are given a different topic to create a list from. I love making lists. You may question why I need a class for this. I don’t, it’s just another form of expressing myself creatively, expanding my perspective and sharing with others. While I’m on the subject of lists I’ll share a list of some of the on line classes I’ve taken and found helpful as well as fun.
- Big Picture Scrapbooking– If you enjoy scrapbooking, this website has many different types of on line classes which are reasonably priced. Some of the classes are during a specific time period and others are self paced. I’m enrolled in one now called grammar free journaling.
- Soul Restoration 1 & 2– These classes are taught by artist, Melody Ross and are uplifting and a good way to help you define your goals. She might be a little too quirky for some, but I love her. I actually got to meet her this summer and wrote about it here.
- Blog Love E-Course– This e-course is offered by Elise and Emma at A Beautiful Mess and has some great advice for beginning bloggers. It’s very affordable, self paced and gives great suggestions for finding your niche.
I haven’t been out and about lately due to our back to back snowstorms in Kansas City. I did make it over to Staples though to check out Martha Stewart’s line of home office products. I loved these labels. Number one is kraft labels which can be used on packages as shown, to label containers or on a scrapbook page. Number two is chalkboard labels. I’m in love with anything chalkboard.
I love this idea from 4 Men 1 Lady. You could use these labels on beverage containers or glass canisters for salads at a BBQ. The tops will help to keep the bugs out. The possibilities are endless. It is worth checking out 4 Men 1 Lady and viewing the rest of the table ideas at her backyard BBQ.

I need labels. thanks for another great tip! speaking of Martha, she has a radio show on Sirius that I’ve been catching late mornings on Stars…112 I think. Ask Martha and Mostly Martha. Good programs with good info!
