I’m resurrecting a few past of my past posts on Halloween for those of you that are new readers and for long term readers who may have forgotten about them. I have been blogging for almost three years and even I’ve forgotten about some of the things I’ve posted. Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays and I explain why I’m passionate about Halloween in this post.

Several of my friends also love Halloween and have thrown some fabulous parties that I think would rival Heidi Klum’s parties. The above pictures are from my friend’s Anne and Julie’s party. They cleared a hedgerow in the back of their yard and strung hundreds of lights everywhere. It’s magical and eerie at the same time. It’s hard to capture the true essence of the hedgerow without being there. Unfortunately, I’m not that skilled of a photographer yet. For more pictures click here. I’m looking forward to this years party and what they theme will be.
My friend Mary seems to be a hosting a party every 3 months. Last year’s Halloween party benefited the American Heart Association which is an organization dear to her heart (no pun intended). You can see more photos of her party here.
It wouldn’t be Halloween without treats involved. I shared this roundup of treats perfect for a party from other bloggers.
I’ve also shared this Halloween appetizer which is easy to make using Pillsbury Crescent Rolls.
For Halloween decor inspiration I shared my friend Anne’s Halloween bathroom which is decorated this way year round.
My Halloween tablescape last year and instructions on how to make the Halloween lantern.
Every year I display my collection of Lori Mitchell Halloween Trick-or-Treaters with the exception of this year. To see more of my collection click here.
For more Halloween inspiration check out my Halloween Pinterest board where I collect new ideas I come across. I’m loving this melted wicked witch cake and these wicked witch cupcakes. You can also pin any of these ideas by clicking at the top left of the image or by using the share buttons below.
