Kelly Rae Robert’s art and messages are an inspiration to me. She is a possibilitarian, artist, author, wife and mother. I love that she calls herself a possibilitarian. One who believes that endless possibilites are abundant. Kelly Rae says, “My mission is to create beautiful, meaningful artwork that tells the truth.” She started out with a career as a clinical medical social worker. At age 30 she started playing with paint and a new way of experiencing the world opened up for her. She now makes an impact through her love of collage art. Kelly Rae says her training as a social worker has helped her to listen, share, heal and navigate messy emotions.
When I look at Kelly Rae’s photo, artwork and blog it just exudes joy. She inspires me to seek beauty in the everyday details of life. Kelly Rae says, ” Once we learn to seek simple beauty, we find ourselves surrounded by inspiration that, when collected inside moments of seemingly insignificant details, expands our creative voice. We pay attention. We get inspired.” I don’t think I can truly do justice to her in terms of all that she stands for in a single post. I suggest checking out her website for yourself here. She is a great writer, artist and seeker of truth. Kelly shares what she has learned that helped her build her creative business through ebooks, ecourses and her book Taking Flight: Insiration and Techniques to Give Your Creative Spirit Wings.” I love Taking Flight and found it very inspiring even though I’m not an artist. There is always the possibility I could become one though.
