I love when we push our clocks back an hour in the Fall. I wait until the next day to change my alarm clock because I like looking at it and thinking it’s not really 9:00 am it’s 8:00 am. I have a whole hour to go back to sleep or get up and be productive. I chose to get up yesterday since I’d already slept in as it was. My family can vouch for me that I’m not a morning person. Daylight savings time is like finding a $20 bill in your pocket you didn’t know you’d lost. For some reason that extra hour feels like I’ve gained ten. It’s a pleasant surprise that makes me smile.

How many other people spotted the dust on my end table besides my husband? I actually even dusted it before I took the picture.

For myself I don’t like daylight saving at all! It gets dark so early and the dark just saps my energy away. I am totally a morning person, love the quiet and promise of the new day, and perhaps I should have been a farmer, except for the million things about it I wouldn’t like:)
