I avoid shopping on black Friday unless it’s online. I love a good deal, but I don’t have it in me to fight the crowds and wait in line for hours. Stores aren’t even waiting until Friday to open. You can now shop on Thanksgiving day which is very disappointing to me. Thanksgiving should be about spending time with your family and friends not about shopping. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a shopper, but I think by opening the stores on Thanksgiving day it really doesn’t speak well for us as a society and our priorities. The above items are a few of my favorite things and some are a few of my friends finds.
- My friend swears by MAC lip gloss. They have several different collections just for the holidays.
- Another friend loves the All Nighter by Urban Decay and it can be found at Sephora.
- I love my new lightweight down filled jacket from Eddie Bauer. It comes in a variety of fun colors.
- I love these bangle bracelets from Alex and Ani. I have several silver and brass bangles that have charms which have personal meaning to me. The company believes that every individual has a positive message to share and they incorporate symbolism and design into each piece of jewelry.
