Good hair days are a simple joy. I got my hair cut and the color refreshed this week. I have seen more gray hairs than normal over the last two years and I love when my hair is newly colored with a little shine. I have always had a hair fetish. I think it’s hereditary because over Christmas break my parents were swooning over actor Simon Baker’s hair. They kept commenting on what great hair he has and I would have to agree. Pictured above is my top five picks of men with good hair. I’m partial to thick and wavy hair which pretty much sums up my line up. Pictured from left to right: Patrick Dempsey, Nate Berkus, James Franco, Jon Hamm, and Bradley Cooper. Russell Brand isn’t pictured, but he’s got pretty awesome hair as well. Please leave a comment if you can think of others I may have forgotten. Oh, how I love to make lists.
If you’ve been following my blog for awhile you have probably come to the conclusion that I love Kelly Rae Roberts and her messages. She shared a post this week about embracing chaos. As someone who can easily get overwhelmed by my to do list it feels good to know I’m not alone. Sometimes the best thing to do is just “keep on truckin.” Keep on truckin happens to be one of my favorite lines of the 70’s. I think I’ve mentioned that before in my blog as well. If you’d like to read Kelly Rae’s post click here.
Another simple joy of mine is chocolate. I’ve not been eating much of it lately because I’ve been following the Shred Diet, but I will joyfully be partaking in some Easter candy this weekend. Hershey’s Mounds used to be made in the shape of eggs which I wasn’t able to find this year. Coconut eggs are my favorite, but I also love Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs and the Cadbury Mini Eggs. What’s your favorite Easter candy?
