[…] Lip treatment / Maybelline® Baby Lips® Moisturizing Lip … : Target I love a good splurge versus steal. I have shared some of my favorite lip balms in the past HERE. Fresh Sugar is one of those. It glides onto your lips smoothly, has a nice scent and leaves a hint of color. The Rosé is my favorite lip tint. It’s a little on the pricey side for a lip balm, but worth every penny. However, if money is tight I recently discovered a similar product with a smaller price tag. Maybelline makes a moisturizing lip balm called Baby Lips. You may have come across it at Wal-Mart or Target. Baby Lips also has a few shade options and a sunscreen option which is great for a day at the pool or beach. I actually first read about it on a blog, but unfortunately can’t remember which one. I made a mental to note to give it a try and then I saw my sister-in-law carrying it. She loves a good and inexpensive beauty find and recommended it as well. Are you familiar with Baby Lips or Fresh Sugar and how would you rate them? Leave a comment. […] 7. Change your pillows out for the season with new pillows. I like to buy feather pillow inserts and then rotate pillow covers. I love Pottery Barn’s pillow covers and I also shared a similar option in this splurge vs. steal post. […]

I do have a splurge vs. steal and it is a Pottery Barn vs. Lowe’s as well! For our farmhouse, I wanted the antique glass ball ceiling light at PB (it is no longer in the online catelog). It was a big glass ball, adjustable with a chain. About $350 if I remember correctly. I didn’t love it that much. At Lowe’s I found it’s twin….Allen & Roth for $119. The shape might be a little different, but it is exactly what I was looking for at a fraction of the cost. I love Lowe’s! http://www.lowes.com/pd_198671-2121-2428A_4294935637__?productId=3388492&Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1
BTW….The Wall Street Journal had an ENTIRE page dedicated to the pillow cover last week! Pottery Barn of course was the cheapie!

Thanks for sharing! I love the light. I still haven’t purchased one for my master closet yet. That’s too funny that the Wall Street Journal was talking about pillow covers.

I never (never!) would have known the pillow on the right wasn’t Pottery Barn if you didn’t tell us! WOW!
