My friend Stacey at Likes to Smile writes a weekly column called the smile list where she shares things she’s loving. My smile column usually consists of stories that make me laugh or smile when I think about them. I like to share anything from an inspirational story to a funny you tube video. I usually write my smile post on Mondays because traditionally Monday mornings can be tough. However, a smile can brighten someones day and as Phyllis Diller said, “set everything straight.” The following are a list of links to some of my past smile posts.
- Sibling Love
- Caught In A Lie
- Vito Corleone
- Kid President
- Somewhere Over The Rainbow
- Strongest Dad in the World
- OM
- St Clare– this is a personal favorite
- You’re Never Too Old
- The Office
Be sure to check out Stacey’s smile list. She’s sharing some really fun items by Dylan Kendall that made me smile. Also, be sure to sign up for the $150 JC Penney gift card giveaway. A winner will be chosen at random by rafflecopter. Happy Monday!

I love the idea of a smile list! There are so many things that make me smile…my dog chasing his tail, a purring cat, my kids doing something nice for someone else, a hug, lunch with blog friends…I could go on and on. Your post made me smile!

If I made a smile list I think half of that list would somehow be connected with food! Fresh corn on the cob, tomatoes, cucumbers and green peppers have made me smile everyday this summer! My youngest child 12, has always said he does not like tomatoes, this summer I told him “you just have to try a “real” fresh grown one”, the kind that unfortunately are only around for summer……. we sliced it, salt and peppered it and since he has wanted them on his salads, sandwiches or just sliced or diced! I love it when picky eaters find something new!

I love your version of the Smile List, too!! The thing that has been making me smile since February 24th (when I published my very first Likes to Smile post) is all my blogging friends!!

This is great! A smile list! I’m a sucker for baby animals, calves in the spring especially make me smile. Our cat, our dogs sleeping in a funny position puts a smile on my face. I smile when I see little girls that remind me of my own at a certain age that is long past. The library, and peaceful, beautiful nature like the Konza Prairie make me smile. Now that was fun, stopping and thinking about what makes me smile. THAT made me smile!! Thank God for these many blessings. Now all day I can look for things to put on my smile list.
