Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I thought I’d share some green inspiration today. I don’t have any grand plans for the holiday, other than maybe eating a corn beef sandwich. When my kids were younger I used to dye the toilet water with green food coloring and tell them a leprechaun had visited us. It took little effort, but my daughter still remembers it. Things don’t have to be big and grand to find joy in them, sometimes it’s the small gestures we remember most.
I’ve been trying to drink a green smoothie at least a couples times a week to my greens in for the day. I came across the website Simple Green Smoothies and I love their simple approach and recipes. Click on this link for their Beginner’s Luck Green Smoothie. If you’ve never had a green smoothie before I encourage you try one. I understand the whole visual thing about drinking something green, but their photographs make green smoothies look enticing. I really can’t taste the spinach it’s the fruits and other add-ins that give it flavor.
I could spend all day on the website Mind Body Green. They offer articles on all sorts of topics: wellness, beauty, spirituality, recipes, fitness, personal growth, and many others. I often get their posts through Facebook and most of the time I am provoked to read their articles.
I love this green tote my friend Cindy gave me. It’s perfect for travel or a day at the beach or pool. The color reminds me of spring and I love the big P fabric appliqué. You can order one through HJA Embroidery. I shared a little bit about HJA here.
I have been wanting to plant a terrarium for quite some time now after seeing tons of projects on Pinterest however, I don’t have a green thumb. I get lazy about watering plants so I like to plant a lot of succulents which don’t require a ton of watering. I love this terrarium from the blog Centsational Girl. This post gives some secrets to successfully planting a terrarium.
Have a great day! I hope you have the luck of the Irish and that you enjoy something green today!

I love that terrarium too – I don’t have the best green thumb, but succulents are very appealing to me!

It’s pretty hard to kill a succulent, unless you over water them. If I ever get around to making a terrarium I’ll be sure to share it.

What a nice surprise to see the bag mentioned on your posting of the “Green”! FYI
I had great success with my succulent planter last year and will do another for the patio once the warm weather decides to stay awhile. It’s my safe way of outdoor planting.
