There have been a lot of things going on behind the scenes lately at Joyful Scribblings which is why I haven’t been posting as regularly. If you’ve been reading my blog you’ll notice things look different now. The content and information I share on my blog is still the same, I just switched to a different blog framework and decided I wanted a cleaner look. I hope you like the changes.
Some of the feedback I’ve gotten from friends is that it was hard to find past posts on a recipe or one of my favorite finds. I’ve created clearer categories at the top of my blog. If you click on the topic some of them have drop down menus which will take you to subcategories. For example, recipes are broken down into appetizers, desserts, entrees, etc. I also have picture galleries of each recipe and a small description.
Each category is pretty self-explanatory except for maybe smile. Smile contains stories and things that make me smile. I’ve also included some of my everyday musings and lessons learned under smile which used to be titled scribblings.
In my right sidebar, you will find all of the social media I can be found on. If you click the icon, it will take you to my Facebook page, Instagram account, etc. and you can follow me there as well. If you’d like to subscribe to my blog there is a box where you can enter your email address. You will be sent a confirmation email. Be sure to confirm it otherwise you won’t be signed up to receive updates. I will be switching email services in the near future so please contact me at dawn@joyfulscribblings.com if you aren’t receiving updates. You can also type in a word or title in my search bar to find a specific post.
Also in my right sidebar you will find archives of past posts listed by month. I’ve also listed popular posts. If you click on the picture it will take you to the post. Some of these things are self-explanatory if you’re a blogger, but I realize they may be new to newer blog readers.
You can still leave a comment and share my posts. You will find most of the social media sites at the bottom of each post. Just click on the icon and if you are sharing please make sure you have clicked on the title of the post so it will redirect people to that post and not just my website. I’m grateful for every comment and share.
People that know me well know I like to frequently changes things in my home. I’ve found this carries over into other areas of my life. I’m constantly evolving and I love to experience new things and places. I’m forever grateful to Gina at Ginasis for creating my initial website. Janel and Lanet at Nellie Bellie are the masterminds behind my new look. It has been said, it takes a village and I truly believe that. I could not have created my vision for my blog without any of these ladies.
To learn more about me and how to contact me if you are interested in working with me just click on about in the categories bar.

I think your new look is great! And I love how organized it all is! I am contemplating one of my own! I need to just sit down and do some heavy duty thinking about what I want to do.

Thanks Michelle. It really helped me to go through old posts and clarify my vision for my blog. It’s time consuming, but worth it. However, I also think blogs can be a work in progress and they change along with you as you grow. Thanks for leaving a comment 🙂
