I wish you all Joy, Peace and Love this holiday season! My dog Fritz was the model for my Christmas card this year. I actually took this picture a few years ago and came across it at Thanksgiving. My kids hate posing for pictures so this is what happens when I’m short on time and don’t have a good family picture, my dog becomes the star of the show. My husband would tell you Fritz is the star of the show every day.
I hope you receive not only presents, but gifts of the spirit this Christmas. I shared the story of when my daughter discovered the truth about Santa Claus in this post. It’s actually one of my favorite posts I’ve written over the past few years. Santa still visits our home, but my hope is that my children one day find more joy in giving than receiving.
I will be taking some time off from blogging over the next two weeks, but will continue to occasionally share things on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. very cute, i have 3 min. schnauzer gals. love them. i have had 4 min. schnauzers, had one in college.
Fritz is our first miniature schnauzer and he’s a great dog.

Just came upon this website and your pictures are beautiful! I can’t wait to try some of your recipes. My husband and I had a Miniature Schnauzer named “Fritz” also. He was the love of our lives! Fritz is now on the “other side of the Rainbow”. We miss him so much. We now have Rocky, Miniature Schnauzer, and Carly-Sue, a Chihauha mix. You also have a nice family, too!
Hi Beth! Thanks so much for your kind comment. I’m sorry to hear about your Fritz. Ours is the love of my life as well. He’s our first family dog and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. It’s going to be tough on me when it’s our Fritz’s time to go as well. He will be 10 this year, but has been in great health other than the occasional ear infection due to hairy ears. I’m sure Rocky and Carly-Sue keep you busy. I hope you enjoy the recipes I’ve shared and feel free to leave a comment any time.
