A new year brings new goals, a fresh start and sometimes lots of extra stuff from the holidays. I’m in the process of decluttering and organizing like many people this month. I use the word process because unfortunately it’s not something that will happen overnight. I wish I had a Professional Organizer like Seana from The Seana Method to physically help me sort and purge things. However, one of the great things about blogs and websites is you have immediate access to information with several clicks of a button. Seana shared with me some of her favorite organization products and why she likes each one.
1.Bamboo Multi-device Charging Station– Today, almost every house has a need for a place to stage rechargeable items. This bamboo station is attractive, fits a variety of sizes, holds multiple devices, and takes up a very small footprint on your counter.
2.Holsters– This neat product hooks onto the side of a table, sink, vanity, dresser… or wherever you need it. It comes in different colors or sizes for different purposes. The Hot Iron is heat-resistant, so you can drop a hot curling iron right inside.
3.Card Cubby– In the era of the gift card, this product is a “must”. This is a small wallet that has alphabetized dividers inside, making it easy to store and organize all of your gift cards (or loyalty cards). They come in a wide variety of colors and patterns and cost about $20.
4.Quirky Powercurl Mini– If you are on the go, you know that wrapping up a power cord can be a bit of a mess. This product is easy to use. You just insert your adapter into the middle, wrap the cord around the outside, and then flip the silicon shell over the cord to hold it in place.
5.Stick Storage If you are a parent of athletic teenagers, this product is for you. A simple organizer designed by a Connecticut Mom, this unit holds 15 sticks or racquets up top, and has spots for the balls down below. It also works great for yard tools with long handles. It can be purchased in a variety of colors online for about $120.
6.Wrap iT Deluxe Gift Wrap Organizer– Your wrapping supplies may be in chaos after the holiday season. This product provides a quick and simple solution for organizing all the wrapping paraphernalia: bows, bags, paper, etc. In addition, it can be hung in a closet, making it easy to store and access when you need it.
