I’ve rounded up seven simple party ideas that are easy, but can take a party from drab to fab. Combine the ideas or pick one or two to focus on and keep things even more simple. I have some secret boards on Pinterest where I collect ideas I find for future posts and these are a few of my favorites from other blogs. I believe just by adding a few simple touches to a party it can really make a difference and make the guest/guests of honor feel special.

These wildcat cake stands from A Beautiful Mess are so fun. They could be used for a Circus Theme Party or paint them purple for a K-State Football Wildcat Party or Gold for the University of Missouri Tigers.
I love these DIY Gumball Drink Stirrers from Studio DIY. So easy and cute! They would be great for a kid’s party like my friend Mary’s Candy Party I shared in a past post or even a family BBQ.
This is such a simple idea for glamming up plain number birthday candles from Banman Land. I wish I had thought of it. Not a glamour girl? How about gluing on shells for a beach inspired party or pieces of broken crayons for a budding artist.
I want to create an Italian Soda Bar at a future party like this one from Tidy Mom. Cheryl created it for a graduation party, but you could have one at almost any party and both kids and adults would love it.
I couldn’t find the direct link for this image, but it comes from Oh Sugar Events. I’m thankfully toward the end of sleepover parties, but for those of you who aren’t I thought this was such a clever idea especially since I’m not a morning person. Throw some donuts, orange juice, milk, and a bowl of fruit in the mix and call it good.
I have a thing for cocktail stirrers and the gals at A Beautiful Mess. These monster cocktail stirrers would be fun for a Halloween party or kids party.
Hosting an ice cream social these last few weeks of summer? These feeling fruity ice cream cone wrappers are a free download you can print when you subscribe to Tiny Me. There are all sorts of other feeling fruity printables available as well. I also love a few of these simple 13 Summer Party Hacks from A Subtle Revelry.
I hope one of these ideas inspires you to add a special touch to your next party. The possibilities are endless!

So many cute ideas! I think I had only seen one of these in the past, the glittery birthday numbers. I love the cake stands, how cute would those be for a circus or zoo themed party? Your Royals beat the Indians last night…Cleveland just can’t catch a break!

We love our boys in Blue Chloe! Hoping the Royals go to the playoffs again this year.

Very cute ideas, Dawn. I think the gum ball drink stirrers are my favorite. That would work with so many different parties! As for breakfast after the sleepover, I’m usually just trying to keep my eyes open – great admiration for the creator of this idea!
