A Small Token of Appreciation

I appreciate you visiting my blog and reading my joyful scribblings so I created a free little gift for you. I made several different wallpaper images that you can use on your smart phone through a really fun app called Rhonna Designs. Rhona Farrer makes it really easy to create your own little works of art with her beautiful designs and inspirational quotes. She offers apps for both  iTunes and Android phones.

Since the Christmas season is approaching I thought I would include two seasonal related wallpapers. It seems 90% of society can be found looking at their phone morning, noon and night (myself included).  I’ve also found most of my readers look at my blog from their phone.

For those who are only familiar with the term wallpaper as actual paper you hang on a wall, phone wallpaper is the background image that you see on your home phone screen. To use one or all of these wallpapers follow the directions below.  I personally had to learn how to do this and trust me when I say it is EASY.

Hold your finger on any of the images in this post for a few seconds and a window will pop up on your phone, select save image.  Once you have saved the image follow the directions below depending on the type of phone you have.

iPhone Users

Open Photos. Find the wallpaper image you have just saved and click (or “tap”) it. Click the icon of the box with the arrow pointing upward. It should appear first at the bottom of the screen. Scroll through icons listed at the bottom and choose Use As Wallpaper from the prompt of options that will appear. “Move and Scale” as you wish, and click “Set Wallpaper” when you are satisfied.

Android Users

I don’t have an android phone, but I found these directions on eHow. Tap and hold on a blank area of the home screen on your Android, choose “Gallery” and select the image. This step applies to many devices running Android 4 and 5, but some require a different method. On the Nexus 5, tap and hold, choose “Wallpapers” and then press “Pick Image.” On Acer phones, tap and hold, choose “Add to Home,” “Wallpapers” and then “Gallery.” You may need to search the Internet to find the exact instructions for the device you are using.
